Blackheads

Blackheads are a type of acne vulgaris. This is what I have read in Wikipedia. Click here to know details. This has been my major problem from aged 21 years old. I have read a lot about it on the Internet. How to banish the blackheads effectively? Below are some of the methods I tried.

1. Home remedies using lemon, honey, soda bicarbonate, oats.

2. Squeezed out the blackheads with a special tool. It made my nose red because of the pressure.

3. Suctioned by Panasonic Pore Cleanser. It is not helpful at all even your pores are opened.

4. Beauty products application. Garnier, Dermalogica, Bio Essence, Avalon Organic, Enfuselle Shaklee, Dior, New York Solutions and SKII. I forgot some of the product names.

5. Tons of vitamin and supplement: Evening Primrose, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Zinc and many more.

6. Exercised Conair Microdermabasion Facial System. It scalded my skin. I packed it back to the box. I am thinking about giving it to someone.

Nothing worked. They could not remove blackheads permanently. Blackhead stubborn creatures I have ever known. It is such a crazy war for me. I have spent so much money just to get rid it from my nose.

Last month I have ordered 2 Murad products from StrawberryNET.com at ebay.

1. Murad Pure Skin Clarifying Dietary Supplement

I have taken the supplement daily, two tablets for two weeks. After that I increased the intake to 3 tablets. However, it made me dizzy. I have decided to take 3 tablets for 1 or 2 days in a week only.

First and second week new pimples pop out. They were big pimples. I suppose this is a healing crisis symptom. Just be patient. The third week tiny winy pimples took over. Recently no more new pimples have appeared.

2. Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel


I have applied 2 times a day the gel onto my nose after applying Pitera SKII. I put twice a day onto my pimples too.

Result: After four weeks the blackheads' amount slightly reduced. The frequency for squeezing out the blackheads is once a week. Alhamdulillah.

Action required: Maintain the usage. Buy Murad skin care after finish my SKII and Dior skin care.

I am still using SKII and Dior for skin care without any problems. However, I am quite positive the result will be improved if Murad skin care is being used together.

In my opinion, different people have different skin conditions. Some products work perfectly to others. Maybe on us they work differently. So try an error. Understand your skin is the best solution.

Pimple Disaster! (Part 2)

I did modify my plan :).

Day 1:
I put  "Body Shop Vitamin C Plus Time Release Capsules" on the scar. Repeat the application frequently.

Day 2:
The top skin peeled off. The scar is turned red and dark. Apply the  Benzoyl Peroxide 5% on the scar instead lemon juice. Logically it will bleach away the scar. I've applied for it alternately with Pitera SKII. I did the process repeated. Top layer skin dry also darkened.

Day 3:
The skin dry and peeled off. The scar is turned red and dark. Maintains with the Vit. C cap.

Day 4:
The skin dry and peeled off. The scar is looked grey. Maintains with the Vit. C cap.

Day 5:
The scar is faded. Maintains with the Vit. C cap.

Essential action:
Repeat the same process until it has gone. Apply the normal skin care regimens daily.

Constraint:
I have three more Vit. C caps left. If fail to buy consider for an alternative.

Mummy also increased the vitamin C intake from 1000 mg to 3000 mg. Which I won't be overdosed by taking it. No doubt, I read an article about it in VitaminCFoundation. GNC Vitamin C 500 with rose hips is my favourite. It didn't cause my belly to upset. It is cheap too.

Pimples Disaster! (Part 1)

Every single man or woman in this planet will get pimples. The place can be on the face or body. However, it can be both. Which is such an unlucky right? Much or just one dot depends.

Mummy is dealing with the problem now. I never had this dilemma during my puberty. Somehow, today at early 30's. Come on! It makes me stress out. Last three weeks I've had a very giant one beside my nose. I put "Clean and Clear Acne Spot Treatment Gel" on it. It left a very dark scar. I can't even conceal this with my concealer. Even though my friends ask me, "What's that?" huhu I really screwed up. It is such bad luck. Next time I won't forget. I think not because the gel is bad or something. The fact is my skin is allergic to the contents. What to say. What ever happened happens. I set my plan.

1. Put lemon juice 2-3 times a day
2. Dab on Pitera SKII 2 times a day.
3. Put cocoa butter as frequent as I can.

I'm thinking of popping a vitamin E capsule on it once daily. However, after I read about "Scar" by Wikipedia I put the action on hold.

New Year and Chicken Pox

Hello to you 2011. You're 6 years old now. Mummy will be 31 years old soon. Time is passing so fast. Thank you, Allah. You still letting us breathe.

Today you're experiencing your real childhood disease. It is "chicken pox." Alhamdulillah you've had it now, if not you will suffer for the scars worse afterwards. Boys never care about it though. I do!

Since Saturday, you have not gone to school. You supposed to seat for assessments. It started this week which last until 2 weeks. Do not worry you'll have it when you're in good shape.

You've cried. Night sleeping is not like usual. The scratchy pox is bothering you badly. Itchy, scratchy so irritating. I've helped you to rub your body slowly. You've felt soothe. It will go away... We can sleep tight again.

Medical prescriptions: Acyclovir 200 mg / 5 ml 5 times for 5 days, Paracetamol 7.5 ml 4 times a day, Calamyl Lotion twice a day.
